Scope and Contents The Monroe papers consist of Charles Monroe's typewritten reminiscences, written in 1959 at age eighty-six. He discusses the history of Webberville, Michigan, the political and social life of the community, education in rural schools, market conditions and the costs of goods and services, as well as agricultural life and work. Scope and Contents

This collection consists of correspondence between members of the Fay family living in Middletown and Westfield, Connecticut, and in Genesee County, Michigan. The letters discuss agricultural and economic prospects, religious concerns, family matters, and social activities.
